These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Metal Detector: EMF Scanner ("the app"), package name com.funverse.metaldetector.emfscanner, provided by Funverse ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the Google Play Terms of Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the app.
The app estimates magnetic-field changes using your device's built-in magnetometer sensor. You acknowledge and agree that:
The app is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. By using the app you agree that ads may be displayed and that advertising and attribution partners may process device identifiers as described in our Privacy Policy. The app does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except where permitted by law; (b) resell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the app; (c) use the app for any unlawful purpose; (d) interfere with or circumvent security features; or (e) use the app in any way that could harm us or any third party.
You are responsible for the device on which you run the app and for complying with all applicable laws where you use it. You retain any rights you have in content you create; the app does not upload your sensor readings or camera images to us.
The app, including its design, code, graphics and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the limited license above.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that sensor readings will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the app (which is USD 0 for the free app) or USD 10.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification) survive termination.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Funverse only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the app or its content. The app is distributed via Google Play and your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms and with United States export-control laws when using the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or Play Store release notes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
